Miley now adopted
Meet Miley, she is a beautiful 5 year old tortie that is looking for her new forever home, she is desexed and will be vaccinated and have flea and worm treatment before being adopted, she is 5 years young and loves being outdoors on sunny days and having snuggles when she is inside. Unfortunately Miley has to find a new home because her owners can’t find a rental that will accept pets so regretfully have asked if we can help.
Miley told me that she is a very loving cat and gets along well with her own kind but is really scared of dogs and any sudden movements, she says she will be a good girl for her new owners and wont make a mess and will think about cleaning the house for you even mow the lawns, after all she said it’s the thought that counts, she has said that she will give her new parents unconditional love if they will do the same for her.
Tigger has been adopted
Tigger is not a kitten but an 18 month old tom cat, he is de-sexed, vaccinated and has had worm and flea treatment. This lovely boy has been fostered by us due to a change of circumstances with his owners, they were heartbroken to see him go and we can see why, they wanted him to come to us because they desperately want him to find a home that will love him as much as they did. Tigger is very shy but also very loving he just needs time to get used to his new circumstances.
Ree’s Wild Rescue does an amazing job of rescuing wild and homeless cats & kittens and giving them a second chance. De-sexing, vaccinating and treating cats for fleas and worms gets these fur babies ready for the next chapter in their lives. All cats are socialised and house trained before being re-homed.
When The Cats Away Cattery is proud to offer some support to Ree’s Wild Rescue by providing regular donations of food and other cat essentials needed. We assist Rhea in her cause to make a difference to these animals lives. Customers have overwhelmed us with their generosity by giving donations which we pass on to Ree’s Wild Rescue. By Permanently fostering 3 kittens we help them get re-homed. Kittens stay with us become more social with other cats and we also take them to our home from time to time to get used to dogs.
Currently we ask for a donation of $140 which is paid directly into Ree’s vet account, this barely covers the cost of treatment for these cats but is essential to make sure that you have the best possible start with your new loved one.
All cats have been treated for fleas and worms, given their vaccination injections and been desexed trying to ensure that you have no complications when you integrate your new loved one into your home. As a thank you for adopting a rescue cat/kitten, When the Cat’s away cattery will give you one week/7 days free accommodation for you new addition.
